Y LINH HO - SAPA
Located nearly 7km towards the South West of Sapa Town, next to Muong Hoa, Y Linh Ho is a commune including many small hamlets of inhabitant residing over mountainous terrain with high and sloping range of mountain. Only hundreds of Hmong people live here. Low standard and dilapidated houses by soil or bamboo are built to live and look after corn field on the sloping hills. Tourists can only get access to the village by walk from the main road, where they start their trips to discover the hidden beauty of Muong Hoa valley and experience the livings of local people in Sa Pa.

SU PAN
Along Muong Hoa valley like Lao Chai, Ta Van; Su Pan, however, is called “mountainous commune”. Located on the low hill to the East on the main road, away 17 km from Sapa town, Su Pan consists of 4 small hamlets of black H’Mong and red Dao looking down Muong Hoa valley. This is a poor commune of Sapa district due to the shortage of cultivated land (mainly rocky soil). Along the main road, tourist can catch the image of simple and small house lying on the rocky ground where grows corn, the main food of resident.

GIANG TA CHAI
Opposing to Su Pan village, on the other side of Muong Hoa lies Giang Ta Chai village where red Dao people reside under the shade of old trees, green rows of bamboo, next to a huge and imposing waterfall. Houses are built on the rocky ground of hills, only a few amount of land is used for cultivation. The view from the main road overlooking the small paths which cross Muong Hoa stream and the foot of Giang waterfall look like a quiet river flowing in Hoang Lien mountain and forest.
