LUNG KHAU NHIN MARKET

It takes 20 minutes to ride motorbike from Muong Khuong town to Lung Khau Nhin. Luckily, the market is still crowded and bustling at 10h30 A.M
Lung Khau Nhin market is held on every Thursday mornings, and is one of famous old fairs of Lao Cai province and spacious Northwest area. As well as other fairs, Lung Khau Nhin is covered by colorful clothes, blankets, green cabbage, yellow tangerine, etc.

A distance from hill top to the market, the fresh shade appears, and gradually become prominent among lonely forest and grey sky. Surround the main road along with the market, the native sell fruits, vegetables, pans, private stuffs. From the main road to the market, dresses, brocades, wool, blankets… are sold.
The colorful fabrics, brocade pattern dresses spread succinctly on hanging wires. Besides there, 2 rows of shops which sell “thắng cố” (viscera), chè (sweet soup), food spiraling up… are covered by blue canvas and the men which wear tafu black are passionately deep in alcoholic ferment. Paralleling the shops, a house is built in total of 50m2 area which above carves the word “CHỢ LÙNG KHẤU NHIN”, modern clothes are sold inside. The end of the house is brocade shops.
