MUONG HUM MARKET

Position: in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province, 40 km from Lao Cai City.

In normal days, anyone comes here, they also are impressed by the charming beauty. And in market day, tourist is so interested in the part of stream which having market. Along two sides of the stream, the group of colorful horses is gathering along the stream and waiting for their owners, sometimes, they neigh making the picture more interesting and exciting. In addition, people lead their horses to go across the bridge a lot.

Inside the market, it is so noisy and crowed everyone is surprised at the colorful clothing of Ethnic girls.
These girls and boys from village, come to this market, not only to buy and sell goods but also they come to enjoy the market, to find lover so every one dress up as they are joining holidays. Hmong girls are so pretty and charming in dress, wearing artificial color hair. They look like blossom flowers which can run, move and shine. Red Dao girls are as pretty as H’Mong: girls wear indigo black clothing with the texture in their chest as butterflies’ wings and they wear red scarf and many silver jewelries. Even small children are on mother’s back, they are dressed up with new clothing, scarf and mostly, people pay attention to these little children.
